How can one be a foodie and not enjoy traveling? I don’t know if it’s possible to separate the two. They go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly, nan and garlic, tortilla chips and salsa, baozi and BBQ pork… I think you get my point here.
I also think travel is travel. It doesn’t matter if it’s local, domestic, or foreign. When traveling there’s this feeling of escape, vulnerability, excitement, and newness one cannot explain and must be experienced.
